TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The National Police will send a team to the Philippines in connection with the arrest of three Indonesian citizens in Manila last week, according to Brigadier General Dadang Garnida, The Brigadier General, who is the secretary of the Indonesian Interpol National Central Bureau (NCB) was speaking on Tuesday (19/3) and went on to say: “We will send a team of two or three officers to Manila.” Garnida went on to explain that the police officers were assigned to seek more information about the three Indonesian citizens in order to clarify the accusation against them made by the Philippine police. He explained that one of the suspects, Agus Dwikarna, is the chairman of the Indonesian Mujahidin Council (MMI) and Laskar Jundullah. “We have data about this, but we need to investigate the matter further,” said Garnida.
